Palm Sunday TLM in Philadelphia

The celebrant and assistants processing through the Italian Market with the gentlemen of the 'schola' following.St. Paul's Church, Philadelphia will be having Palm Sunday according to the Traditional Roman Rite.

The Church of Sta. Maria Maddalena dei Pazzi (the other church in the parish) will be used as the ecclesia collecta on this day, weather permitting. This means that the ceremonies will begin there with the blessing and distribution of palms at 12 noon, and then process through the Italian Market to St. Paul’s Church for the Mass. If you are physically unable to walk in the procession, you should wait at St. Paul’s Church for the procession to arrive at about 12:35 p.m.

St. Paul's Church is easily accessible from I-95, exit at Columbus Boulevard/ Delaware Avenue. Christian Street is at the first traffic signal north of Washington Avenue. The church is located on Christian Street between 9th & 10th Streets. Parking is available across the street from St. Paul's Church. The Church of Sta. Maria Maddalena dei Pazzi is located approximately four blocks away on Montrose Street between between 7th & 8th Streets. Montrose Street is one full block south of Christian Street.
