Christ the King, All Saints, All Souls

This year we have so many important church holidays back-to-back--Christ the King, All Saints Day, and All Souls Day. Here is a listing of where to assist at the Traditional Latin Mass for these three days. Addresses for each of these churches can be found in the sidebar of this blog, located to the right.

Archdiocese of Philadelphia

St. Paul's Church, South Philadelphia. The Feast of Christ the King marks the one year anniversary of the Traditional Latin Mass at St. Paul's Church, Christian Street. The pastor of St. Paul's Church offers a High Mass every Sunday and Holy Day of Obligation, as well as for other feast days.

Christ the King: High Mass & Benediction at 12 noon
All Saints Day: High Mass at 7 p.m.
All Souls Day: Rosary for the Dead at 6:30 p.m.; Requiem High Mass & Absolutions of the Dead at 7 p.m.



Sacred Heart (Polish) Church, Swedesburg. The pastor, Fr. Andrew McCormick, offers a traditional Latin Mass for all the Holy Days of Obligation.

All Saints Day: Low Mass at 6 p.m.



Holy Saviour (Italian) Church, Norristown. The pastor, Msgr. Charles Sangermano, offers the traditional Latin Mass every Sunday in his parish at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Chapel. Msgr. Sangermano will offer the second and third Requiem Masses of All Souls Day in the extraordinary form of the Roman Rite at Holy Saviour Church, which is located at 407 E. Main Street in Norristown. Christ the King: Low Mass at 11 a.m. (Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Chapel)
All Souls Day: Requiem Low Masses at 9 a.m. (Holy Saviour Church)



Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Overbrook. The Mercedarian Friars offer the traditional Latin Mass every Sunday and on some of the major feast days.

Christ the King: Low Mass at 7:30 a.m.
All Souls Day: Requiem High Mass & Absolutions of the Dead at 7 p.m.



Our Lady of Consolation (Italian) Church, Tacony. Our Lady of Consolation offers the traditional Latin Mass every Sunday. The new pastor supports the TLM and has even learned to say it himself.

Christ the King: Low Mass at 1 p.m.




Diocese of Camden

Mater Ecclesiæ Mission. Mater Ecclesiæ was the first personal parish in the nation for those attached to the Traditional Latin Mass. They offer Low Mass daily and High Masses for Sundays, Holy Days and other feasts.

Christ the King: High Mass & Benediction at 11 a.m.
All Saints Day: High Mass at 7:30 p.m.
All Souls Day: Requiem High Mass & Absolutions of the Dead at 7:30 p.m.



St. Peter's Church, Merchantville. The pastor of St. Peter's Church offers a weekly High Mass every Sunday and also on certain Holy Days.

All Souls Day: Requiem High Mass & Absolutions of the Dead at 7 p.m.
