Praised be Jesus Christ!

(And so that I don't disappoint both my fans and critics: Does no one own rochets and surplices and stoles any longer? Perhaps that could be the Archdiocese's next work of charity?)

I think his remains should be interred with reverence and respect and no longer displayed. I find this story rather macabre, although I recognize the devotion of those involved.

The veneration of relics is a laudible Catholic custom of ancient origin that helps draw the faithful closer to God. Many other world religions have similar practices.

Great to see this new look! I remember in 2001 when I saw him in those wretched 1990s Gothic duds...albeit with gloves!
